Hi Karl

I need more information to help you. I need to know the version numbers of: Joomla, PHP and FAQ Slider. I also need to know what you mean by "when i turn on faq slider" - does this mean simply publishing it in the admin backend or do you mean putting {faqslider}some category{/faqslider} in an article?

If you're using

Joomla 1.5.x and PHP5.x and FAQ Slider 0.6.2

and

this is occurring only when you insert the plugin syntax in an article

please try inserting the following and let me know what happens:

{faqslider inline}<table><tr><td>A test title</td><td>Some test content</td></tr></table>{/faqslider}

hi there

thanks for the reply .

joomla v1.5.15

PHP 4.4.9 (cli)

faqslider i take it is the recent one.

sorry turn on slider means enable it .

i am a bit mixed up with the setup of it so it might be finger trouble.

in the admin back end i put a piece of code in an article.

then go to the plugin adn enable it and the page turns white and the rest of the site cant be accessed.

i put your code in and its the same.

does it need version 5 ?

Hi

Ah, I suppose the requirement for PHP5 should be in the FAQs!

Can you turn on PHP5? The majority of hosts will have it available. PHP4 is very old now...

You can possibly make FAQ Slider compatible with PHP4 by removing all the words "public" and "private" in faqslider.php (found in the plugins/content folder) but I can't guarantee it...
