i installed faq slider and it worked well in firefox, But when i saw it in IE i saw it was a mess.
I'm using an artisteer template.

can you send a link to this site? most problems of this sort involve incompatible javascript or css. as the plugin simply uses joomla's built in tabs/sliders unless you override using the parameters it shouldn't be a problem.

however, if you are not using the latest version, 0.6.1.1, you can have a situation when using the alternative script where some javascript is published without the collapse/expand all links. this will cause an error that can make the sliders appear skewed to one side, as shown in this post

The problem is the Artisteer template. In other templates it works fine.
Solutions are welcome.

Just looking through and saw that you've gone for another solution. I'm not sure it's as nice as FAQSliders if you don't mind my saying so. Do you want some help to try and sort what the interaction was with the Artisteer template?
